Ovarian cancer is the most fatal of gynecologic malignancies and the symptoms are quite vague and can easily be mistaken for another disease. I have a friend who is fighting against ovarian cancer over 2 years. I started by watching it live on my computer at work at cnn.com than a few of my coworkers gathered to watch it in a meeting room with a large tv. It was very cool as a group to watch this historic event. I’m SOO excited about our new President!!!

I think making it legal, or just not illegal (decriminalize?) has potential benefits. I especially like the idea of required health exams. You know, it’s legal in Amsterdam, I wonder what sort of issues that leaves in the wake, if any.
I do agree, I wouldn’t want it in MY neighborhood, and I wouldn’t want my kids seeing it. You’d have to have a red-light district.
It’s a slippery slope for sure.

I don’t really see the big deal in it, when the women chooses that path. If it was legal, there could be things set in place like health exams, etc. I just wouldn’t want it to be the norm to see prostitutes on the streets if it was made legal. I wouldn’t want my kids to see it in our neighborhood if that makes sense.

I had a differnt experience. I was slim enough in high school, but when I went off the college I gained the “freshman 15,” plus 5. By the time I graduated I weighed 60 pounds more than when I entered. A sedentary job, the stress that goes with it and a tendency to eat out frequently and now I am 100 pounds overweight. Maybe if I hadn’t gone to college my path would have been different and I would not be so obese. Still I prefer this option, I guess.
